Setting Campaign Play Status
There are multiple states or stages that a campaign goes through from concept to completion. From the initial planning to the end of the road, these stages form a sort of life cycle for the game as a whole. On Obsidian Portal, we refer to this as the campaign's Play Status. The campaign's play status appears on the right hand column of the Home Page, and serves to let users who visit the campaign site know where the game stands in terms of this life cycle.
To set the campaign's play status:
- Navigate to the dashboard of the chosen campaign.
- Click on the "Settings" tab.
- Locate the "Campaign Status" drop-down menu.
- Select the desired campaign status.
- Click the "Save" button.
After saving, you will receive notification that the "Campaign was successfully updated". The selected play status will appear next to the "Play Status:" listing on the right hand column. A play status may be left blank.
