Can you change the default email notification

Hi, I am entering in all the NPC's of an existing campaign that we are porting to this site. Every time I create one the boxes to send email to the me and the other GM is automatically selected. Since I will be entering dozens at once, it will be annoying to get/send these emails for each NPC. How can I change the default to not be selected?

    There are email notification settings in your account profile. You can
    uncheck the boxes there and you will be automatically un-selected when
    editing the characters.
