The Universal 3.5 Template won't add skills

I'm making a knowledge heavy character and ran out of places to put them, so I clicked the "add" button. It seemed to work fine, but when I saved it, the addition disappeared. I tried several times, and it just wouldn't stay there. It's not a big concern for me, I've given it one of perform's slots and fiddled with misc bonuses to get the right total for int's bonus instead of Cha's, but I thought you should be aware.
