Printing Characters

I have a character that won't print properly. The image should go all on one page, if possible, and I don't know why the bio creeps up beside the image. In other words, I want it to print just as it displays, but it doesn't.

We haven't tested printing in a long time, so I can understand that it would
be messed up. I'll try to find some time in the future to play with it, but
    we're pretty swamped right now.

Bump. I use Adventure Logs as my session planner (so I print it out every session), and a) horizontal rules don't print at all, and b) a bunch of unnecessary guff gets printed at the end.

Still swamped with other stuff. Thanks for the bump, though.

Just curious, when printing, are you just talking about printing from the broswer or is there a print button or something?

Just using the browser's Print function.

    Bump.

Failing predictable printing, it would also be nice to import/export characters I could write my own XSLT for printing or offline editing.

    Bump.

If printing is far off, an import/export feature would let me write my own XLST for printing or offline editing.

In the meantime before this gets cleared up I'll jump in and provide a suggestion or two.

Have you tried printing to PDF and then printing the character sheet from that, or using a full browser screen cap (crude I know) and printing from that? Hope this can help a bit in the interim here.

Good ol' PrintScreen works fine, if you're willing to do some image editing yourself or have a good eye for guessing how many pixels high your printer translates a page.

Yeah I'd love to be able to print the characters properly. The way I'm envisaging my players using this site is to manage their characters from here and then print a new copy out every time they get a level.

These are great thoughts guys, thanks for sending them our way. We'll be sure to keep these on our list of potential to-do's.
